Dog Breed Information About Maltese x Shihtzu (Maltzue)
This breed is a cross between a Maltese (which is an all white dog and has a
pointy nose), and a Shihtzu (which is a multi coloured dog with a flattened nose
– he looks like he ran into a door).
Together they have become one of the 1st cross breeds created and is very
popular today as they were 10 years ago. They can adapt to a family of children
running around playfully, and can adapt to elderly owners who are less active.
This breed will need regular clipping and brushing, however like many of the
short breed dogs that shed constantly, the Maltzue do not shed hair so are good
for people with allergies.
