Dog Breed Information About Beagles
The Beagle is a medium sized dog.
They are a friendly, intelligent, active breed and are great in a family
environment.
It is important that they are obedience trained and regularly walked. When
walking they must always be on a leash as they were originally bred as a hunting
dog, they are easily distracted if something catches their eye.
They need regular brushing as being a short haired dog they constantly loose
hair.
